Kulgam Police organizes indoor sports festival | KNO

SSP Kulgam inaugurates the festival at DPL

Srinagar, February 22 (KNO) : To provide platform to the talented youth and to promote sports activities in the district, Kulgam Police under Civic Action Programme has organized an U/19 Indoor Sports Festival, which was inaugurated by SSP Kulgam Shridhar Patil at District Police Lines Kulgam, today.

During the inaugural ceremony, Police Officers, Officials of Youth Sports Services Kulgam and participant’s (boys and girls) were present. This festival is going to be played into five Zones, i.e. Kulgam, Yaripora, Qazigund, D.H Pora and Devsar. While interacting with the participants SSP Kulgam Shri Shridhar Patil assured them that every possible effort will be taken to nurture the talent of youth of the district.

Talented boys and girls from different schools of the district are participating in the festival. The games including Carrom, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Wrestling, Badminton, Throw ball and Kabadi will be played during the sports festival.(KNO)
